Chairman Kim Jong Il always paid deep attention to the Grand People's Study House which declared its opening on April 1, 1982.
On July 24 that year he gave precious instructions on enhancing the prestige of the Grand People's Study House.
That day he said that it should be a great honor to be an auditor of the Grand People's Study House; in other words, if they do not have a lecture card or a lecture certificate of the Grand People's Study House, the officials should think that they aren't in the rank of high-level; for this purpose, a lot of theoretical lectures and interesting lectures should be organized well by enlisting the authoritative people and establish a system so that the Grand People's Study House can be used throughout the country.
