Saying That the Illumination of the Reading Rooms Should Be Brighter

Cover image-Immortal classical works of the General Kim Jong Il

The great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, looking round the Grand People's Study House at the completion stage on September 26, 1981, told that the scientific library of the Kim Il Sung university was not illuminated properly, and that the reading rooms of the Grand People's Study House were also not illuminated properly, and taught that the reading room should be lighted more brightly, or the table lamps should be placed on every tables, and that the eyes of the people would not be damaged when the illumination was provided nearer than the illumination from far distance.

He continued that he wished to put a table lamp on every desk in the reading room, but it would be difficult to do so because the construction was completed, and taught that we should not lay stress only on constructing the building wonderfully, we should provide the bright illumination in the reading rooms in any way so that it does not cause fatigue to the people's eyes, and we should design to put the table lamps on the tables when we construct the libraries in the future.
