Re-education of scientists, technicians and on-site technicians should be organized and conducted in a planned and effective way

The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il taught, in a talk with senior officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Cabinet on April 11, 2007, that at present, when science and technology were developing rapidly and their renewal period was shortening, the re-education of scientists, technicians and on-site technicians was a very urgent problem, and the Grand People’s Study House should organize and conduct, in a planned and effective way, the re-education of scientists, technicians and on-site technicians so as to make an active contribution to ensure that the qualifications of scientists, technicians and on-site technicians who have long ago been away from university were in keeping with the developing reality.
