The overseas compatriots of our country and the organizations and individual personalities of many countries have been donating books and data to the Grand People’s Study House.
To date, the organizations and individual personalities of many countries including the US, Japan, Switzerland, China and Germany have donated more than 298,200 volumes of books and data through more than 260 times to the Grand People’s Study House.
Our overseas compatriots with their hearts burning with patriotism have donated more than 617,900 volumes of books, 3,035,500 patent data(including the flims of patent data), 1,612,100 scientific and technological electrodata, a lot of equipments and materials needed for the modernization and management and operation of the Grand People’s Study House.
The introduction of “Reading Area For Books Donated Out of Patriotism” of the Grand People’s Study House
The Grand People’s Study House has managed “Reading Area For Books Donated Out of Patriotism” since November, 1988 for giving wide publicity to the patriotic deeds of the overseas compatriots donating books and data for the prosperity and development of science and technology of our fatherland and for making their patriotic devotion an active contribution to the growth in its wealth and strength.
The Grand People’s Study House houses all the books and data donated by them in “Reading Area For Books Donated Out of Patriotism” and reading service as well as the wide publicity to the overseas organizations and compatriots donated them.
