On January 1, 2024, the respected comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace to see the New Year performance of schoolchildren. Before the New Year performance, the respected comrade looked at the science-fiction models created by the schoolchildren and heard their detailed explanations.

One August day two years ago, the respected comrade Kim Jong Un came to the April 25 Hotel to learn about the educational preparations for the schoolchildren in the flood-hit area.

He entered the classroom of the first class of the second grade of the primary school group and looked, with a bright smile on his face, at the schoolchildren who were engaged in the lesson.

In November 2023, the respected General Secretary Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Ryongsong Machine Complex.

At the Second Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee, he warned officials in the economic sector of their tendency towards self-protection and defeatism to imitate others while shouldering fewer responsibilities, on the pretext of the conditions and environment. He solemnly declared that building 10 000 flats in Pyongyang every year was uncompromising policy. Later, he issued an order of president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to complete the construction of 50 000 flats in Pyongyang on the highest level through the coordinated army-people operation.

IThe respected comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Baby Home and the Pyongyang Orphanage on the occasion of the New Year 2015.

That day he told the officials that he came to the Pyongyang Baby Home and the Pyongyang Orphanage just after delivering his New Year Address to celebrate the New Year's Day with the children longing for affection.

Visiting the Pyongyang General Hospital in a day of September 2025, the respected comrade Kim Jong Un said he came to acquaint himself in detail with the interior finish and the preparation for medical service, looking around the hospital nearing completion.

He added that the construction of the hospital should be flawless as it was for our people to enjoy the benefits of modern medical service,.

In December last year, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Kangdong County Leisure Complex which declared the inauguration.

He told, with great pleasure, that the Kangdong County Leisure Complex, a multi-functional cultural base, was inaugurated and the people in the county would like it. The officials looked up him with excitement.

Nowadays, all the Korean people warmly recall the significant speech made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the meeting marking the 80th founding anniversary of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League in January this year.

It is the historic exploits and victory of the Korean youth movement that can never be compared with and replaced by anything else to connect the proud past of our country to the present era of glory and to build a rosy future by preparing the next generation to take over the baton of revolution. The strong growth of young people is one of the hard-core goals of the state development that our Party aims to achieve in the present struggle and a great step towards the future.

The more cheerfully, boldly and vigorously the younger generation grows up as reliable pillars who will shoulder the eternal prosperity of the country, the stronger the might of Juche Korea will grow and the victorious advance of socialism will be accelerated. This is the noble intention of our Party.
