Consistent attention should be paid

One August day two years ago, the respected comrade Kim Jong Un came to the April 25 Hostel to learn about the educational preparations for the schoolchildren in the flood-hit area.

He entered the classroom of the first class of the second grade of the primary school group and looked, with a bright smile on his face, at the schoolchildren who were engaged in the lesson.

He told to the officials that he was proud and worthwhile that the Party Central Committee has made a prompt and correct decision to take measures for provisional education for the children and schoolchildren in the flood-hit areas.

The officials were deeply moved.

Such an amazing reality in the world was achieved by the important measures of love which could be taken only by the respected comrade who regarded the education of the rising generation as the most important affair of the Party and the state.

That day, he stressed that the prospect and future of the Party and the revolution depended on how education was conducted, and told that some people thought it was not a big problem for children not to be educated for a few days, as a result, it would result in an irretrievable effect that the development of the country would slow down as much as that, and therefore, the Party and the Government should always pay attention to education, give priority to investment and support, and establish a social view of attaching importance to education.

The officials, being taught by the respected comrade, keenly felt again that the education, on which the future of the development and prosperity of the state depends, was a very important undertaking that should not be neglected for a moment, and at which the constant attention should be paid.
