We Should Build a Large Translation Capacity
On September 26, 1981, President Kim Il Sung visited the Grand People's Study House before its completion and taught that the Grand People's Study House should conduct the translation work successfully.
He taught that many foreign books in the Grand People’s Study House should be translated, printed or recorded, it was useless only buying many foreign books and putting them in the shelf to boast of it, and although all foreign books cannot be translated, it should greatly help our people raise their scientific and technological level if only about five million books would be translated.
And he carefully taught that we should build a large translation capacity, in order to translate the books in the Grand People's Study House and make a contribution to the studying of our people.
