“The Embrace of My Motherland”

In August 1952, when was at the height of the fierce Fatherland Liberation War, the great General Kim Jong Il personally wrote the immortal classic masterpiece "The Embrace of My Motherland" at the Supreme Headquarters.

The more we read its each line, the more solemnly we remember his outlook on the country.

The embrace of the motherland, bright as the sun, is the embrace of the fatherly General Kim Il Sung!

There are many poems and songs about the motherland in the world, but there was no famous man ever searched such the great truth.

The immortal masterpiece "The Embrace of My Motherland" which praised in an excited tone that the great leader’s bosom is like that of our motherland was an expression of his faith that the motherland is shining with the President Kim Il Sung and the destiny of the Korean nation lies in his warm bosom.

The artistic expression of the words of the song, which defined the motherland as the embrace of the President Kim Il Sung, was a great philosophical discovery and became the philosophical basis of his theory on the leader.

Even through this classic masterpiece we can keenly realize how noble his outlook on the motherland was.

Today, the immortal work “The Embrace of My Motherland” is widely loved by our people and deeply implants in their hearts the ardent patriotism and noble outlook on the motherland.
