A Phone Call Made at Dawn

One day of September, Juche110(2021), when the typhoon no.16 was raging, an official of the State Hydro-Meteorological Administration was watching keenly the moving direction of the typhoon, when he unexpectedly received a telephone call from the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The official politely answered his questions about the typhoon no.16 and told him in his ardent passion not to worry about the typhoon any longer and to take care of his own health as it was nearly four in the morning.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un told him in his joyful voice that the official should be first worried about the people’s safety and welfare rather than the health of the WPK General Secretary, emphasizing that we should spare time and work hard, even if we had to sit up all night, in order to make our people enjoy a happy and comfortable life free from any cares and worries.

The official’s throat was choked with passion: the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un always bears the destiny of our people on his shoulders and is always worried about them!

In general, it is people’s common viewpoint to regard a natural disaster as an unavoidable.

But the respected comrade Kim Jong Un is firmly determined that any fury of nature cannot threaten our people’s life and safety and always worries about our people’s safety and welfare even when there is a usual breath of wind or a string of cloud or a drop of rain. There is no other person so benevolent as the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the world.

This story is still ringing and pulsing in the hearts of tens of millions of people even today, reminding them time and again that all of our Korean people enjoy a happy life thanks to the great devotion and labor of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
