Viewpoint and attitude towards our party and revolution

One day of May, 2013 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un had a talk with our officials on accelerating the building of the powerful socialist nation by bringing about a new change in the development of science and technology.

In his talk he emphasized that the officials should acquire a right viewpoint and attitude towards the science and technology. He told them that the person who neglected science and technology or disregarded the development of science and technology of our country was disqualified for the official and could not share the destiny with our Party.

He emphasized that the viewpoint and attitude towards our Party's line of putting importance to science and technology were just those towards our Party and revolution, those towards our socialism.

The officials fell into a deep thought.

In the present era of the knowledge economy and of information industry, conquerors of science and technology will become the victors and its slaves the losers.

In particular, our officials are the commanding members of our revolution. If they neglect and disregard the science and the technology, they will be the obstacles hindering the advance and innovation rather than the pacemakers leading properly the development of their sector and unit.

So the viewpoint and attitude towards our Party's line of putting importance to science and technology are just a serious criterion of assessing the qualification as an official, an acute political matter of approaching our Party and revolution.

Through the significant talk of that day, our officials kept it deep in their mind that today the speed of the development of science and technology was precisely that of the development of the country and that the official who did not put importance to science and technology would become a useless person and a failure of our era, who does not even have the right to exist in our revolutionary forces.
