An earnest request

One day in October, Juche 103 (2014), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Natural Energy Institute.

With a broad smile on his face and so pleased to have provided such an excellent research centre to our scientists, he looked upon the building of the institute again and again.

That day, he acquainted himself with the details of the work of the Institute and gave concrete instructions on the tasks of their research work for a positive development and usage of natural energy such as wind, solar, geothermal, etc.

And he continued that natural energy usage technology field is one of the fields that we must develop and promote without fail, emphasizing that the Party Committee of the State Academy of Sciences should help them in their work and make an active political work among the scientists so that they could produce positive results in the development and use of natural energy.

Looking up to the respected General Secretary showing the way of the Institute and requesting the Party Committee to give an active support to its scientists, the officials couldn’t but feel a lump in their throats.

Deeply inscribed in their hearts then and there was the lofty aim of the respected General Secretary wishing our scientists to open up a shortcut of development at the van of the struggle for national prosperity.
