Most of the castle was built with single-side laying, only the sections just after valleys and across the level lands built with double-side laying.

The remaining parts of the castle walls now are 4-5m high on the mountainous areas, and 10m high on the level lands.

The castle walls often found in the castles of Koguryo Kingdom, were built with the stones with square facade and quadrangular pyramid-shaped backside.
